Outlander Season 2. Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) Is Brave, Romantic And Funny

Outlander season 2 is currently filming and everybody is excited and trying to remember every detail of season 1. Scottish warrior Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) is the hero who any woman would like to know. But what is he like and why everybody love his personality?

Maybe we can understand Jamie Fraser’s personality if we think about his relation with Claire (Caitriona Balfe). He is brave and romantic, but funny too. No woman could be bored with such a couple! Don’t you think so? Tell us your opinion now!

No doubt, Jamie Fraser is brave. Here, some sentences he tells Claire in Diana Gabaldon’s books but which also appear in the TV show: “You are safe,” he said firmly. “You have my name and my family, my clan, and if necessary, the protection of my body as well. The man willna lay hands on ye again, while I live.”

“I prayed all the way up that hill yesterday … I prayed I’d be strong enough to send ye away. I said, ‘Lord, if I’ve never had courage in my life before, let me have it now. Let me brave enough not to fall to my knees and beg her to stay.’ … Hardest thing I ever did, Sassenach.”

“I swore an oath before the altar of God to protect this woman. And if you’re tellin’ me that ye consider your own authority to be greater than that of the Almighty, then I must inform ye that I’m not of that opinion, myself.”

But Jamie Fraser is funny too. I love these moments. And you?

He hesitated a moment before answering. “Well, no,” he said slowly, “so long as it doesna bother you that I am.” He grinned at my drop-jawed expression, and backed toward the door.

“Reckon one of us should know what they’re doing,” he said. The door closed softly behind him; clearly the courtship was over.

“Where did you learn to kiss like that?” I said, a little breathless. He grinned and pulled me close again.

“I said I was a virgin, not a monk,” he said, kissing me again. “If I find I need guidance, I’ll ask.”

And of course, he is romantic, the most romantic gentleman on TV. Don’t you think so? Then, listen to him!

“I remember every moment, every second. I’ll never forget when I came out of the church and saw you for the first time. It was as if I stepped outside on a cloudy day, and suddenly the sun came out.”

“When the day shall come that we do part,” he said softly, and turned to look at me, “if my last words are not ‘I love you’-ye’ll ken it was because I didna have time.”

“I’m sorry. I didna mean to hurt ye. But I do want to be in you, to stay in you, so deep. I want to leave the feel of me deep inside ye with my seed. I want to hold ye so and stay wi’ you ‘til dawn, and leave you sleeping and go, with the shapes of you warm in my hands.”
