Newton. Wilson. Kaepernick. These three names are united under one banner: dual-threat. Going against tradition, these three (among others) have gone outside the pocket and rushed for yardage just like a running back. Defensive Linemen and Linebackers alike have been stressed with moving backward than フォワード, 前進, 楽しみにして towards the QB, since the play-caller is rushing right past them. In 最近 years we've seen an emergence of these dual-threat QBs, most importantly 2012. In that year's draft, guys like RG3, Andrew Luck and Russel Wilson were drafted. Hoping to reinvigorate their legacy, the Colts selected Andrew Luck as a way of replacing their most treasured player, Peyton Manning. His quick speed and arm attracted many Colts ファン to declare their wanting of him (some ファン raised signs saying 'Suck for Luck'). The 年 before that, Cam Newton (#1 Overall) was selected によって a Panthers organization looking for a franchise player besides Steve Smith (no offense). His speed was all that proved his importance to many offenses and a nightmare to defenses. In 2011 alone, Newton ran for 706 yards and 14 TDs (career high in TDs). Personally, I believed for some time that Newton was in fact a RB, but...

Actor Chris Waters
Actor Chris Waters is finding himself in the middle of a couple controversial projects lately.

In an ironically accurate commercial, Waters stars in a spot for Beats によって Dre opposite the polarizing NFL player Richard Sherman. The ad positions the Seattle Seahawks 星, つ星 as himself getting grilled によって reporters, including Waters, in the locker room. Of course, no one knew the commercial, which premiered the same 日 as Sherman’s real-life outburst, would be so timely.

Waters explains, “This all happened so quickly. The spot came out and I was obviously excited about it. Then Sherman makes the play to win the game, and goes on his little post game rant. Suddenly, it seemed like everyone in the country was talking about him. 次 thing あなた know, I start seeing the spot all over the internet on various news outlets, such as CBS, Perez Hilton, Mashable, AdWeek, Business Insider, USA Today, etc. It was insane!”

As if that wasn’t enough, just days later the anticipated Joe Carnahan film “Stretch,” which Waters also appears in, made news when Universal announced it was dumping the action-comedy from their distribution lineup.

'My love for the Green Bay Packers' established in 1998
I 愛 the idea that Brett Favre can live up to 275 (as ランダム a number that is) years old, I 愛 the idea that Brett Favre has never stepped a foot out of place, I even 愛 the idea that he's been THE face of the franchise for the past 17 または so years, but come on... enough is enough! This is the guy 年 after 年 come the off-season becomes a part of the front office, feeling that he can make decisions on who the Packers should pick in the draft, who they should go after in free agency and who the Packers should cut または trade from the roster. The last time I checked, he was there to throw the ball to a receiver または hand it off to his running back, nothing more, nothing less. To think he can suggest moves that the head coach, the general manager, AND the chairman are もっと見る than capable to make is shocking and if it was any other team, the guy would be sent packing (no pun intended).

*WARNING* My first ever analogy between football "soccer", and football "NFL" *WARNING*

NFL Playoffs
Let me first start によって saying how happy I am that the Patriots finished the regular season 16-0. They have set the standard for every other team to follow in the future. Unselfish team play and a willingness to play a full 60 分 week in and week out allowed this team to reach perfection. I did predict that this would happen in about week 8 または so, so I am also happy that I was right (it doesn't happen that often). Now they need to finish the job and win the Super Bowl to go 19-0. It won't be easy, and they are the hunted (as if they weren't before).

Hello all. The NFL playoffs start tomorrow January 5, 2008. There are a few suprise teams in, and a few suprise teams that didn't make it. Let's start with the teams that probably shouldn't have gotten in this year. In the AFC I'd have to say the Tennessee Titans. They do not have a very potent offense - scoring less than 20 points per game - but they're defensive line is the class of the NFL. Starting with Albert Haynesworth, the front four put a lot of pressure on QBs and stuff the run. However, the only reason they got in is because they beat the Colt's jayvee team. Manning and co....
