NCIS: Los Angeles Season 6 Episode 3 Recap 

You Mess With One Of Us, You Mess With ALL Of Us – NCIS Los Angeles Season 6 Episode 3 – Praesidium

We learned last week that someone had paid two-hundred and fifty thousand dollars for Hetty’s home address. The security guard in the residence has been shot and killed.  Luckily, Hetty is still being grilled in D.C. and was not there at the time.

As the team are all summoned to the office in the wee morning of the hours we find Kensi and Deeks asleep on a couch, Mr. Fitness Sam out for a run, Callen sadly buzzing off his sexy beard and shaggy hair from last week, and most disturbingly Granger topless in bed with a young blonde.  My creep factor on Granger just went up a few notches.

In some information Hetty left with Nell, it shows she actually owns five residences.  Apparently NCIS pays very well!  As G and Sam search one of the properties, they are involved in a shoot out and take down one of the intruders.  Maybe now they will find out who did it because as any good criminal would, he had his cell phone with no security code in his front pocket ready and waiting for them.  If they look under “Bad Guy 2″ or “Boss” in his contact list, they should have this wrapped up in a few minutes.

Meanwhile, Hetty has taken a dive during her committee hearing.  She is selling it well but she is actually fine and is dropped off in a back alley by an accommodating ambulance driver, who gives her a gun as big as her arm and sends her on her way.

The D.O.J. is still on site and frustrated with their inability to get any of the NCIS team members in their interrogation room.  They go to drastic measures and follow Sam and Callen while they are out in the field.  The lead investigator finds herself in the passenger seat of Sam’s car racing down the streets with shots being fired.  Even that doesn’t keep her from asking the questions she wants to ask.  I would think almost getting shot in the head would have silenced me, I guess that’s why I don’t work for the government.

When the D.O.J. arrives at the boat house, they cuff Callen and take him into a room for questioning.  However, they leave him alone just long enough for him to get out of the cuffs, find a trap door in the floor, and drop into the ocean below, and swim to shore where Sam awaits him.  Um, well… no comment.

Next up for questioning is Kensi and the focus is her time in Afghanistan. They seem to be angling that Hetty financially negotiated with terrorists to get her home.  When she leaves the room she is clearly rattled and Deeks is there to comfort her.

Back in D.C. Hetty is found and taken to meet with Navy Commander Neil Corby.  Neil tells her the committee panel was a ruse to get her out of Los Angeles.  He knew someone was after her and wanted to find out who it was and keep her safe in the process.

Back home it seems they may have just pinpointed who that someone is, Mattias Draeger, and old foe of Hetty’s.  Apparently Draeger was warned by the team  that if he ever tried to hurt Hetty again, they would come for him.

So on to next week where the plan according to Callen is to do just that, “hunt him down and kill him.” Bring it!
