I realise that they often had important roles in the stories, but to be honest, I wasn’t interested in them. I wanted to see more of the ponies! I wanted to see the ponies do all the heroic things without the need of humans appearing in their world. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciated MLP Tales being all about the ponies, but I still would have preferred the earlier cartoons (where the ponies did act more like animals than humans) to save the day on their own and have the spotlight on them more often.
