RADWIMPS Release your name\'s "Sparkle (original ver.)"
has released the music video for their song "Sparkle (original ver.)." The "movie version" of this song, unusually, was released first — in the hit film
While the music video is primarily a reedit of scenes from the film, it includes several new scenes, mostly shots of nature and the protagonists staring at hourglasses.
The music video will be released in a DVD with the limited first edition of
Ningen Kaika ("Blooming Human"). The album will also include the movie versions of "Sparkle" and
\'s theme song, "Zen-Zen-Zense" ("Past-Past-Past Life"). Its release date is November 23.
Ningen Kaika: limited first edition (left) and regular edition (right)
has triumphed at the Japanese box office, earning 16.41 billion yen since its release on, thereby surpassing
and Avatar. It has gained so much attention that its settings have become pilgrimage sites and it has been regarded as marking the "end of an era" for anime. An American release is scheduled for the first quarter of 2017.
