The Originals has bested TVD in so many ways it’s ridiculous. The storylines are head and above TVD even when TVD was in its best yrs (S1 &2.) Added to the fact the leads (J. Morgan and D. Gilles) are ten times better than TVD’ s Salvatore brothers. Paul Wesley is an amazing actor but he gets dragged down by tht sandbag Ian Somerhalder. I mean he thinks acting is squinting and over enunciating words to death. That and TVD’s ridiculous, horrendous story telling is so unbearable. Everyone watch The Originals!

That’s because it’s the first season, I like the Originals more too , but give it some time and you’ll see how they’ll screw it. The Vampire Diaries is on its 5th season, and still good, but not as good as before.

It’ll be harder to screw it up with better actors. And TVD is good? I don’t see how with it’s random storylines, useless characters, faux deaths and bad acting per Somerhalder. But hey, to each it’s own.

I absolutely second that. Paul is a great actor and he´s kind of in Ian´s shadow, like all the time. I read that the writers are big Ian “Fans”? Can that be a reason for the Damon dominant script?

Ian plays Damon very good, in my opinion, but Paul seems more professional and serious. I hope he gets movie roles, so I can keep on drooling ;o)

All I was saying was, The Originals looks better because it’s on its 1st season, watch TVD’s first season, it was great too.. it’s not the actors that are bad, it’s the writers who decide what the story line will be and what will happen.

Phoebe is pretty and i like her, but the dress was awful choice.
