Drugs and underage drinking is illegal too and people seem to get over the fact that the other characters do that all the time.

Stealing the letter is pretty much the only bad thing Vanessa's ever done. If Blair would have stole the letter, people would have totally been okay with it. It's just the fact that it's Vanessa thats got everyone buggin'.

I never said what she did was okay, obviously it's not, I just said that I find it odd that people can get over all the horrible things other characters do, but are still mad that Vanessa stole a letter all the way back in season 2.

i don't think that people hate her just bcuz she stole the letter, but that pushed to the breaking point.

I freaking love the fact that no one can come up with anything worse than stealing a letter when listing Vanessa's bad deeds.

If you want to hate her, go right on ahead but don't paint her as some dishonest person because she took a love note and later apologized to all parties involved.

i really get tired of all that Vanessa hate! she's amazing, but i get it! she stole a letter and slept with Chuck! so bad things, i mean of course is it wrong to steal a letter, but like clm-anomaly said it's the worst thing she ever had done and it was in season 2! but since nenny is perfect and natessa are boring, i understand lol.. i really get tired of it! she amazing, most because she stole the letter so nenny didn't happen!

I mean... Blair stole batteries from a girl's calculator to make sure she did horribly on the SATs. Tell me how that's better than Vanessa stealing a letter, and later feeling terrible about it and apologizing.
