(All of New Directions are in the choir room going over the 次 assignment for the week. As usual, Mr. Schue is 書く a word または phrase on the big board, while New Directions are seated in the background.)
Mr. Schue (to the class): Passion. Who can tell me what this means?
(Rory, Tina, and Quinn are seen raising their hands, but Brittany is the first to blurt out an answer.)
Brittany: A fragrance.
(Mr. Schue, trying hard to ignore Brittany's absent-minded answers, turns towards Tina's direction.)
Tina: Somewhat like the emotion and intensity あなた feel for another person.
Mr. Schue: Yes, Tina. あなた finally got something right in my class. Well done. (He turns away, not noticing the look on Tina's face.) Your assignment for the week is to get together with another person and sing a song to each other that expresses passion.
Rachel (out loud): If I may, Mr. Schue, Finn and I would gladly like to demonstrate to the class about the meaning of "passion".
Finn (mumbling, moaning): Oh, God.
Mr. Schue: Sorry, Rachel. Fate will decide who you're 歌う to. (He holds out a black hat and shows it to everyone from the piano. Everyone starts to moan.) One at a time, come up and pick a name from the hat.
(Quinn is the first one to pick a name.)
Quinn: Sam.
Sam (sitting in the back): How the hell did I even end up here? I thought I was at home.
Quinn (cheerfully): Trouty mouth! Awesome!
Sam: Damn, not her again.
(Mike is 次 up.)
Mike: Asian girl.
(Tina moans. Then it's Finn's turn.)
Finn: Kurt...again.
Blaine's Thoughts: No!!!
(The 次 one up is Rachel.)
Rachel: Blaine.
Blaine: Good grief.
(Puck is up 次 to pick a name.)
Puck (silent for a moment, looks up at Mr. Schue): But she's not even in--
Mr. Schue: Shelby's group agreed to give us some of her girls so the boys will be paired with somebody as well.
(Artie rolls up and picks a name.)
Artie: Mercedes.
(Rory is the last one to choose a name.)
Rory: Who is...Tammy McGee?
Mr. Schue: She's one of the Troubletones.
Quinn (to Rory): And on the Cheerios.
Rory's Thoughts: In the beginning of my days here, I've always thought that the Cheerios were cool. But now I've learned that a few of them--including Satan...Santana--are just a couple of brats.
Mr. Schue (looking in the hat): So that means, Brittany, あなた get Santana.
Brittany's Thoughts: I'm not even sure if Santana's still in 愛 with me anymore. I sorta blew our relationship when I was sticking up for Rory the other day. Besides, we always argued about whether to get the vegan surprise または the deli dishes at that fancy restaurant.

(It was free period, and some of the students were either at lunch, tutoring, in the boys または girls bathrooms, または walking around aimlessly. Santana was alone in the girls' bathroom, putting eyeliner on. She had just noticed Brittany walk in the room.)
Brittany: Can we talk?
Santana: So you're finally gonna admit that your mother has a sore spot on her 尻, お尻 because あなた have a brain the size of a テニス ball?
Brittany: No. It's about the assignment we were 与えられた in glee/グリー club.
Santana: Don't bother trying to バター me up. あなた let me down, Brittany. You'd never do that to me.
Brittany: I was being a good friend to Rory. あなた don't understand...
Santana: Yes, I do understand. I understand how it feels to have bullets shooting through the very powerful thing in your body...your heart. Basically, あなた killed me inside, Brittany. I don't even know if I can look at あなた anymore.
Brittany: Come on. If I killed あなた inside, you'd be on the floor not breathing instead of putting makeup on and talking to me.
(There was silence. Santana grabbed her bag, shoving it against Brittany's arm, and walked to lunch. Brittany rushed out the door, watching Santana leave.)
Brittany: We have to do our assignment, still.
(Santana didn't respond. She stared at her and walked away.)
Brittany: I 愛 you!
(Behind her, Quinn shook her head and pretended to vomit.)
Quinn: All of this 子犬 愛 is making me sick.
