I would not "spray mace", but nor would I have trusted him. First of all, had I been Jasmine, I would not have acted so coy. I would have straight up said that he looked like the boy from the marketplace, and that I thought he was him. If he had denied it, I may have given him a chance. But when he said "Do you trust me", just like the boy in the marketplace (which I would have noticed) I would have called him out on it. And I would have been really pissed off that he was lying to me, and I would have demanded an explanation.
However; I would have ridden the magic carpet, it's a MAGIC CARPET! But after the ride I probably would have totally ditched him and been like "thanks for the ride" because that's how I treat men, especially ones who lie or try to play games. Not saying I'm proud of it, but I wouldn't have fallen back in love with him like Jasmine did. I might have listened to his excuses but I am even harder to please than Jasmine and my trust is lost much more easily, so I would have made him work much harder to try to win me back, and I probably wouldn't have let him do it anyway, knowing myself.

To me knowing him and all as a character from a movie, of course I'd ride it. It's Aladdin. IT'S A MAGIC CARPET! But if this question meant replacing Jasmine with yourself and having the knowledge she had, you'd wince at that. I wouldn't spray him, no. But it's still a magic carpet, so yeah, I'd ride it.
