Like Ariel, I would rather be a human than a mermaid. I could never feel comfortable with servants or maids and a castle is far too much upkeep for just myself. I also could never feel comfortable living in a castle because it's too excessive and wasteful to me since I don't have a large family... Or multiple families living with me.
