Don't pick the one who you believe that is the "nicest", but also the one who's brave enough to stand for him in front of everyone and no matter how dangerous it was.

Belle can be pretty outspoken when she needs to be. When she sees her father locked in the dungeon, she immediately sets out to save him ("I won't leave you!") and offers her life for his without a second thought. Later, when the Beast snaps at her as she cleans his wounds, she tells him what's what. "If you'd hold still, it wouldn't hurt as much!" "If you hadn't frightened me, I wouldn't have run away!" and "Well, you should learn to control your temper!" Then, of course, when Gaston tries to rally the town against the Beast, she tells him, "He's no monster Gaston, YOU ARE!"

Not only does Belle have a strong sense of justice, but she seems more likely to confront someone and tell a tyrant what's what the same way Esmerelda tells Frollo exactly why he sucks and where he can stick it.

I can see all of them doing that, actually.

I feel like this question is mostly just a popularity contest. If each of the princesses above was put in the same situation as Esmerelda they would all defend Quasi because it is the genuinely good thing to do. The only ones I could see not doing so is maybe Snow because she might be a bit too timid, or Elsa because she hates bringing attention to herself. Everyone else though I feel would have enough courage to do the right thing if they saw that no-one else would.

OnceABlueMoon, I don't think Aurora would do it as well. Also, I said who's MOST LIKELY, I agree that many princesses would do this, but who's more...the type of person that would do this. I mean, in the movie, Phoebus is supposed to be as nice as the DPs, but he didn't do much. So that's why I think not all of them would do it. Well, perhaps I'm wrong anyway, so then I'm sorry, I just wanted to see what other people believed. Personally, I agree with Tygers_Eye.

and I agree with Silver. Where do people get the idea Snow is timid then turn around and call her out for being bossy and taking over the house?

I don't know how Mulan is winning because she's one of the most timid of all the princesses and really dislikes bringing attention on herself.

Pocahontas is one of the bravest princesses and has a strong sense of justice. Also Belle and Jasmine. I agree that SW is not timid.
