I ain't never seen this one, and from what I hear, I don't want to.

I really like Princess Eilonwy, but Sweet Heaven Above, The Black Cauldron was a TERRIBLE movie.

I hear that shortly before release, then-head of whatever Jeoffrey Katzenberg ordered that they cut a good 20 minutes of content from the film. It was already looking doubtful that it was going to do well thanks to prior meddling on his part, and I have no idea how well the film would have done had they kept it in, but cutting about 20 minutes of content to an already weak story was just the death knell for it.

In fact, after The Black Cauldron bombed, Katzenberg and other big Disney execs considered shutting down the animation department for good. Thankfully The Great Mouse Detective, which Katzenberg had minimum involvement with and thus did not have a chance to ruin, did well enough critically and financially that it convinced Disney the animation department still had a future. A few years later, The Little Mermaid and the Disney Renaissance launched.

This movie to me was just really bad, and the only good song on the soundtrack is "You'll Be IN My Heart."

The only one I don't like/love.
Tarzan is my favorite Disney movie, and I adore most of the others.
