By the end of the ディズニー Renaissance, layered characters weren’t enough. Now, the princesses had to be heroic as well. This is where Pocahontas and ムーラン come in. Pocahontas saves her village and her prince. ムーラン takes it up a notch and saves her country and her prince. Both princesses have been accused of problems with her personality. Why do we feel the need to compare The Princess and the Frog with Tangled?

If I had to write an 記事 which one of those 映画 is better, I know what the result would be. I consider 塔の上のラプンツェル the better movie because it has a cohesive story, better characters, better score, もっと見る impressive アニメーション – it just beats The Princess and the Frog in every aspect. But why is there this constant need to compare those two 映画 in the first place? I have never seen anyone comparing any of the ディズニー Princess 映画 with the one which came directly beforehand または after, unless it was for pointing out the development in animation.

Oh yes, villain songs – though they are a fairly new ディズニー tradition, they tend to be one of the high points of every ディズニー movie. But I didn’t want to ignore the older ones, so I decided to include “villain themes” too. The only one I didn’t 一覧 is “Cinderella” – there is some sort of 音楽 playing when Lady Tremaine locks her into the tower, but I wouldn’t call it her theme. Her menacing presence works もっと見る over the visuals, over the play with light and shadow, than over the sound. That’s not a bad thing, but let’s have a look how the right 音楽 can enhance a villain....

Le Fou was slapping the water with his arms and shouting out nonsense. Among them, Charming heard, "I can't swim!"
Great, Char. Now you're gonna have to do the right thing. He started paddling toward Le Fou but drew back after the pain stung him again. He looked into the black water and saw red coming.
"Le Fou, hold onto Princey!" Gaston yelled.
