Second: Here is my personal break-down analysis based on knowledge of Arab/Muslim culture compared to the ディズニー アラジン film.

The majority of Princess Jasmine's numerous flaws stem from the fact that she is completely inaccurate and offensive to her culture. From the clothes she wears to the way she speaks, ジャスミン does not represent Arab または Muslim women at all but rather a disgraceful woman in their culture. Unfortunately, ジャスミン is not a suitable role model for young girls.

1. ジャスミン is dressed like a Harem girl instead of a princess. A princess is the daughter of the king who no man is allowed to touch without the king's approval. A harem girl is one of the king's many mistresses. No king would dress his daughter like his mistress. No father would want to see his daughter dressed in that way.

2. ジャスミン is very impulsive to her detriment. She runs away from ホーム which would never happen in reality as she knows she would've been raped and/or killed as a lone female running around, especially in that clothing.

3. ジャスミン does not choose her words wisely and therefore gets herself into もっと見る trouble. (Example: She says "At least one good thing will come of me being Queen, I'll have the power to get rid of you!" to Jafar. Now, someone who wasn't trying to stop her from getting to be クイーン has all of the incentive in the world to stop Jasmine. If ジャスミン had kept her mouth shut, she could've just became クイーン and actually got rid of Jafar instead of just talking about it.)

4. ジャスミン doesn't have enough self worth/value. As she says in Aladdin, "I am not a prize to be won." So she's just some trash to be thrown out? She completely looks at herself the wrong way. She IS a prize to be won and she gets to choose who gets to win. Instead of just being 与えられた to someone, her preferences are actually playing a huge part. Most other princesses in the world and most other women in the middle east (Jasmine's culture) would not have had so many luxuries in choice of who to marry as ジャスミン did.

In addition, when ジャスミン first meets アラジン when he saves her in the marketplace, she immediately goes ホーム with him. He is a stranger and she has no idea what he will do to her. She also knows アラジン is lying about what Abu says when アラジン pretends Abu "thinks it's awful" that ジャスミン "has to get married". In this moment, she goes to キッス アラジン but the guards interrupt. No proper young lady would go back to a strange man's house and let him make his moves on you. If she had もっと見る self value, she wouldn't be offering her first キッス to a ランダム 通り, ストリート criminal that she doesn't even know if she should trust または not yet.

5. ジャスミン is incredibly spoiled. Instead of recognizing how much better her life is than any other woman around her, ジャスミン refuses to acknowledge her blessings and instead is very spoiled and selfish in her wants for more. Nothing would ever be good enough for ジャスミン as her life is already better than everyone else around her yet she still complains. All her father wanted, was to know that his daughter would be taken care of によって a good man before he died and she wouldn't even give these men the time of day. How is she supposed to know whether または not they are worthy または whether または not she could 愛 them when she wont even really meet them または give them a chance? She'd be a much もっと見る pleasant and reasonable person if she at least gave them a chance but made no connection. The film makes it obvious that she doesn't even try to connect with them though.

6. ジャスミン is absolutely a tease and not just for her clothing. Having watched the film, it is easy to say that her clothes are chosen for her rather than chosen によって her. This doesn't change the fact that she is so unpleasant in her personality that the most likely reason for her provocative clothing is so as not to scare off every potential suitor. Besides her clothing though, ジャスミン acts like a tease on her own accord. She teases アラジン on the balcony before berating him. (Refer to #6.)

7. ジャスミン is referred to as a "Shrew". A "shrew" is a person with violent temper and speech. This is not seen as becoming of a young woman. She should no better when to hold her tongue and when not to. She is also a prejudiced shrew, being awful to innocent people who don't deserve it. When アラジン compliments Jasmine, telling her that he thinks she is beautiful, her response is to tease and then berate him. She says "Hmm... Yes. I'm rich too. The daughter of a sultan. A fine prize for any prince." to which アラジン says "A prince like me." Hopeful that with his new status, he will finally be worthy of Jasmine's 愛 and attention. He goes through a lot just to get to see her again and how does she respond? "A prince like あなた and EVERY other peacock I've met. Just, go jump off a balcony!" What a shrew! This guy goes through all of this trouble just so he will be allowed to meet and talk to あなた and all あなた can say is for him to go kill himself? Over what? Being attracted to you?

8. ジャスミン is incredibly spoiled. All her father wanted, was to know that his daughter would be taken care of によって a good man and she wouldn't even give these men the time of day. How is she supposed to know whether または not they are worthy または whether または not she could 愛 them when she wont even really meet them?

9. ジャスミン is prejudiced. She doesn't even want to give アラジン a chance just because now he is a prince even though he is the same guy? This proves that ジャスミン is not a generous または kind person who takes people as they are but rather for what they represent. She didn't even care to know アラジン as Ali because of what he represented not who he was as a person.

10. ジャスミン is a hypocrite. In addition to her being rude to Ali just because he was a prince, she was still rude when she realized he was アラジン the whole time. When she tricked Ali into admitting that he was Aladdin, she got very upset and started yelling at him. She yelled at him because he lied about who he was even though she started the lying in the first place when she lied about being a princess. How could she get mad at アラジン for pretending to be something he's not when she did the exact same thing? Somehow it's right when she does it but wrong for anyone else? Exact definition of a hypocrite. Both アラジン and ジャスミン felt trapped によって their positions in society and they both lied about who they were to discover another world they felt denied of. She had no leg to stand on whatsoever for getting mad at Aladdin.

Personally, this is all a shame to me because they pretended ジャスミン was an Arab princess but then they designed everything about her to be American または an Arab harlot. This is not representative of her culture または of a princess. [I personally would have loved to see her もっと見る true to character as I think Muslim/Arab women have a very unique grace and bravery that could have been shown.] I believe the reason that ジャスミン gets negatively portrayed in lots of "fan fiction" is because she is so much in conflict with her own culture and princess culture. It is hard for grown adults to take ジャスミン seriously as a role model for young girls when she is portrayed this way.

Had ジャスミン been portrayed もっと見る accurately, she would've been far もっと見る like Cinderella, Ariel または Belle. She would've been braver, kinder and もっと見る modest. She would've had もっと見る grace and poise the way a princess should. The most accurate ジャスミン was portrayed in アラジン was in her purple royal engagement announcement dress. That is the ジャスミン who should be sold to the little girls. Not the spoiled, impulsive, shrew-like tease version of her.

NOTE: アラジン IS taken from "1001 Nights" または "Arabian Nights". Princess ジャスミン is based on Princess Badroulbadour who is Chinese (not Arab) and described as being somewhat spoiled and vain.

Dungeons & ドラゴン (or D&D for short) is a super fun テーブルトップ, 卓上 roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. I've been playing the game for around eight years at time of writing, and I strongly recommend あなた give it a try if あなた ever get the chance. It's really an absolute blast! D&D has always been one of my お気に入り hobbies, but within the last two years it's become an even bigger part of my life. Since I've been having so much fun with it recently, I decided it was finally time to try something I'd always wanted to do: turning...

Remember those great romantic moments that were imbued with pure ディズニー magic and have since become timeless keepsakes: how we got to experience 愛 at 1st sight with シンデレラ as she waltzed away with Prince Charming into a blessed starry nightscape; the anticipation we held on to when Prince Eric leaned in to キッス Ariel as they floated along a spellbinding lagoon; the way Lady's eyes gleamed under the Bella Notte as Tramp gazed into them over a candlelit スパゲッティ ディナー for two; how our breathes were taken as Eugene finally saw Rapunzel surrounded によって the lanterns of her dreams on Corona's...

I doubt if this 記事 belongs here but since we have similiar lists for Esmeralda and Meg, I decided to 公開する it here. Here is お気に入り DP 一覧 I believe princess Mei from ムーラン II would have. Mei highly values romance and also admires people with メリダとおそろしの森 and rebellious personality.
P.S. I am planning to do the same lists for Ting-Ting and Su but these are going to be もっと見る difficult to make.

11. Tiana

I am sure that Tiana would be Mei's absolute least お気に入り DP. Mei would see Tiana as boring, narrow-minded, unromantic, overly rational, materalistic, unadventurous and pig-headed workacholic....

Everyone has their personal ranking of their お気に入り ディズニー Princessess n thoughts of who should b included. In my eyes, this is the ranking of the maidens from the house of mouse:

15. Aurora, indeed the sleeping beauty is beautiful, elegant, n has a heavenly opera voice, unfortunately she has little agency in her own story n personality.

14. Anna, a spunky n cute go getter but most of the other princesses that have come before her have these traits checked off too.

13. Moana, a real cookie cutter of a modern ディズニー princess, she is pretty much just an ethnic variation of Anna but is ahead one...

Pocahontas is one of those ディズニー films that, despite being middle-of-the-road for me, I have to rewatch fairly often. Something about this movie intrigues me. Maybe it's because I want to like the movie もっと見る than I currently do and understand why some ファン revere it. I might not be there quite yet after this most 最近 rewatch, but I'm narrowing in on what specific things I like and dislike about the film. Now's the time to share those thoughts.

Praises
1) The backgrounds in this movie aren't just beautiful. THEY'RE GORGEOUS. The subtle lines, the designs, and especially the rich Colors(色) are...

I don't really like Lindsay Ellis at all but I never thought I'd see the 日 where I agree with her on something and she'd have a video that perfectly sums up my issues with ディズニー in 最近 years.

I was watching her Beauty and the Beast 2017 review and she was basically complaining about how years of whiny, nitpicky nobodies on the internet like あなた and me going on and on about "stereotype" this and "problematic" that regarding ディズニー 映画 has pretty much resulted in the hot 尻, お尻 messes modern ディズニー films are today. How the BatB remake is a terrible adaptation of the OG film and it's contribution...

Tangled: The Series, now called Rapunzel's 塔の上のラプンツェル Adventure, premiered in March 2017 with the pilot movie, Tangled: Before Ever After (hopefully that sentence wasn't too confusing!). The film sees Rapunzel adjusting to life in Corona and introduces several concepts that the rest of the series will explore: Rapunzel's golden hair growing back, the growth of magical spiky rocks that can devastate Corona, foes with a thirst for revenge, Rapunzel and Eugene's marriage, and Rapunzel learning how to become a good queen.

At first, I was surprised that Tangled was getting a TV show. Even though I quite...
