This Summer a new super-team leaps from the comic book pages to the big screen, but these guys aren\'t so heroic.

Suicide Squad gathers together the worst psychotic killers, criminals, assassins and mercenaries from the DC Comics Universe and sends them on the deadliest covert missions in exchange for more lenient prison sentences.

Viola Davis plays \'Amanda Waller\', the no-nonsense head of the government sanctioned operation giving the team their orders, whilst Joel Kinnaman is \'Rick Flag\', the military leader of this

\'Task Force X\', with the sword-wielding \'Katana\' (Karen Fukuhara) his second-in-command, trying to maintain order.

Will Smith stars as the expert marksman \'Deadshot\' and reunites with his Focus movie co-star Margot Robbie, who plays the more than slightly unhinged fan-favourite (and Joker\'s main squeeze) \'Harley Quinn\'.

Batman\'s arch-foe, recent Oscar-winner Jared Leto brings a new insane incarnation of the \'Joker\' to life in Suicide Squad.

Jai Courtney is \'Captain Boomerang\' (his name gives away his choice of weapon), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is monstrous \'Killer Croc\', Jay Hernandez is the flame-throwing \'Diablo\', Adam Beach is the rope-using \'Slipknot\' and Cara Delevingne is the evil \'Enchantress\'.

All of these supervillains have different motivations for being on the team, but writer and director

David Ayer is responsible for keeping all these egos in check and giving them all enough screen time to make us give a damn.

Plus let\'s hope this movie has more humour than the rather joyless

Sunset Strip in West Hollywood on June 30, then later along Olympic Boulevard, Highland Avenue, Wilshire Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue through July 14, 2016.
