I'm sure あなた know that classic クリスマス story. The one about a man named Scrooge and that fatefull クリスマス Eve that changed his life. I must admit, looking out into the world, if the Ghosts of クリスマス Past, Present, and Yet To Come have found themselves, like so many, unemployed. I feel like we need them now もっと見る than ever.
Every クリスマス it seems the same and it truely saddens me. I hear reports on the infamous "Black Friday" of people being run over as well as fighting to get that last discounted item. People loosing their patience altogether and taking it out on those who are just trying to make an honest living. Have we all become Scrooges in our own right?
The sad thing is, it's not only Christmas, it is 年 round. People only looking out for themselves and not caring how their actions effect other people. We have become a narrow minded society only seeing the world within our own minds, completely unaware of the people that 移動する about us.
So why should クリスマス be different? Because it is the season where we should be looking outward toward our fellow human race. We should be a little もっと見る patient, a little もっと見る kinder, a little もっと見る giving. After all isn't that what the クリスマス spirit is about?
What would it hurt to just walk into a store instead of a wild stampede to get that "must have" item? Worse case senerio, they run out and あなた don't get it. Will your life end? Will あなた spontainiously combust right there on the spot? I seriously doubt it.
People are not obstacles to over come, they are there just like あなた to fill their クリスマス lists for their loved ones. And is anything really worth grabbing from the hands of a fellow shopper? Do あなた really wish to be the Grinch that steals クリスマス from someone else.
I know the クリスマス seasons is yet to be in full swing, however, I am noticing this behavior starting up and felt a need to voice my concern. Whether あなた agree with me または not, please take a little time to notice those around あなた and try to be patient. A simple smile and a sincere "Merry Christmas" または "Happy Holidays" will go along way. Maybe not to everyone, but someone out there that feels like the クリスマス spirit is dead, may just get that tiny shimmer of hope.
After such a rough 年 the world over, let us all try to do our own part to bring "Joy To The World." If indeed the クリスマス Ghosts are no longer out in force, let's give them a hand and help convert all those Scrooges out there. And as Tiny Tim 発言しました "God bless us, everyone!"
