He's a cute character. I'm not crazy about him, but I still like him. And I think his friendship with Quasimodo is really sweet.

Yeah, I agree. I don't get all the hate he gets. He just acts like a regular kid his age and is a harmless character. Plus he's hardly in the movie anyway enough to do anything to produce the hatred he has produced in people.

Does he really get a lot of hate? I wasn't aware of this. God, WHY? He's just an innocent little kid! Playful, cute, finds kisses disgusting, has a very sweet friendship with Quasi, characteristics any kid of his age has, why would someone go as far as say they hate him? The only thing that you could say against him is that he's not an interesting character, but he doesn't have to be! He's barely in the movie! Honestly, don't people have nothing better to do with their lives than whine about a freaking child in a Disney sequel who does everything a child is supposed to do at that age?
