fellow actors are vital for your own performance

ignoring them, wanting to crush them or being jealous of them will effect the entire play and throw through in your performance

We´re doing a play at school, and all my fellow actors are just so awesome and add so much to the play. We´re writing the play ourselves and we all have great ideas and we make it together, wich makes it so special and fun. It wouldn´t have been the same without any of them!

I ignore them, like they need thier space and are human. But if I see one on the streat or somewhere I would ask them for an autograph.

A bunch of good actors who can't work together make a terrible play. In acting, it's not all about you. It's about working together. And it's more fun that way.

But that doesn't mean I never think I'm better than them. SOmetimes people get jealous, but I'm friends with everyone.

The other actors are so important....even if I didn't talk to them often, at the end, I always cry when a show is over. I miss everyone!

I know from personal experience how much it sucks when someone else get the part you are perfect for yourself :'( But you just gotta lift your mind and proove that you got the talent instead of showing your jealousy... Some day it might come in handy ;)

Last year I got the worst part ever in a play... The instructers just made up a character so I had something to do in the play... I lifted my mind up and powered through... Now this year I got one of the leads in the new play :D

Acting is supposed to be fun. I would hate to ruin such a wonderful time not only for myself, but for my cast-mates. I can understand why some people feel envious of those who always seem to get the main roles, but come on! They won it fair and square. You'll just have to step up your game for the next play.
Friendly competition is nice, but taking it too far is frankly, ridiculous. I'd keep all competivity in a jokey, fun sort of way.

A play can't go on without a team. If the people in a play work together - the play is going to be brilliant. If you stand divided, you're most likely going to stink up the place. It's natural for players to get a little edgy come audition time - but after we all get our results? It all settles down. We get what we get, and that's that. If you don't get the lead role - make your role shine, even if it is small.

We are each other's "teammates"! We work hard together to put on a great show, and have fun doing it!
