On the talk show, Yoseob opened up about his life as an idol and revealed that it\'s meaningless to ask idol stars about their relationship status. He explained, "There\'s no need to ask questions about relationships to idols because there isn\'t anyone anyway. For idols, I think dating means manners (to fans)."

Tak Jae Hoon then asked, "So you don\'t have a girlfriend?" and Yoseob replied, "I don\'t have one."

Idols dating is bad for business. Being an idol means being single because fans have this delusion that somehow/someway/someday they will hit pay dirt and hook up with their idol. The idol\'s biggest hook is making fans feel in love. You can\'t really do your job when you are already taken.

See, in Korea..Idols are perceived as "products".."boyfriend products" really.They\'re these anime characters that "if I\'m not able to touch them, then so everyone shouldn\'t be able to"I\'m telling you, k-netizens are the bad shit crazy people and the korean fans are the crazy obssesive ones..both have one thing in common- they control these people\'s lives

Mmmmhhmmm, somehow I\'m not convinced that there aren\'t any idols in secret relationships.  But if he doesn\'t feel comfortable dating, that\'s his choice.

Why does it even matter anyways, work and personal life are two different things as long as u work hard and do ur best and respect others then it doesn\'t matter weather the idol is dating on not but some fans ar way too childish and idiotic to realise that.

Personally I don\'t mind idols dating other people - in fact, it\'s something that they should be more encouraged to do instead of living in fear of doing it. On the other all of us witness the crazy reactions of some netizens on a daily basis and we know how crazy some people can get. So it\'s something that should happen on both sides - like the great FT Island entries have already shown.

It\'s probably best to never mention that you have a girlfriend/boyfriend or at least come out with it. No idol with common sense will come out on a television show (unless they\'re that bored or secure with their fandom) that they\'re dating. It\'s useless to ask because the answer that you\'ll get is a "No," or a roundabout answer that really doesn\'t answer the question.

I actually don\'t wanna talk about it since it\'s a recent topic, but what Hongki did with his relationship, that\'s what you call manners. He told his fans that he had a crush on someone before having a girlfriend. He revealed that he had girlfriend before reporters announced who it was. He also immediately revealed by himself that he broke up with his girlfriend before reporters could write something about it. This is what you call trust. FTISLAND show their real side to us and tell us about their private life before reporters could do. Instead of letting us find out about it through articles like strangers, they let us fans know it first beforehand reporters write about it/find out. That\'s what you call manners. That\'s what you call trust

But you have to understand that some people don\'t want to speak on their personal lives. Even if you\'re their fan, they don\'t owe you their privacy. And sometimes idols need to protect their significant other from fans.

ppl are heartlesss. I hope one day you can date all you want, and selfish fans still spend money on you knowing nothing, it will serve them right. \'oppa don\'t date and have a life because my fucking heart. ugh
