In the マンガ Vampire Knight we are in what year? When Yuki 15 years, we are in what year?

I don't think it's set in any particular recognisable time period. Like あなた pointed out, there are modern things there like the way they dress, and もっと見る old fashioned things as well. Also there's historic events mentioned which don't fit into any real history.
