It was hard to follow at first but after the first arc it starts getting better not as good as Higurashi on terms of the mind fucks but still allows you to ponder the situation and figure out how each murder could have been done without a supernatural force. Which to me was fun.

P.S: The sub-plots I didnt like so much wish they just stuck to the murders and the Battler/Beatrice conversations.
