Chapter Eighteen
Book Six- Zoe
How did the battle end? Well, Shane kicked some serious butt. I wasn't so bad myself. The guards may have been ghost but they were pretty easy to kill. All あなた had to do was kill hem like あなた would kill a human. It was that simple. It was what made the battle even もっと見る serious then it already was. My sister. She killed herself. That is what it looked like. The odd thing was that The One was nowhere to be found. I searched everywhere in the 城 but I couldn't find him. I soon gave up. He wasn't important. My sister was. The dream of my sister's grave によって Erica, Emma, and me was vivid in my mind as Shane carried her dead body back to our realm. It was going to be a hard thing to explain to my parents when we got home.
My expression was stone. I gave away no hints of crying または self pity. Shane didn't try to make any type of conversation and for that I was thankful for. I didn't want to talk. I didn't want to acknowledge my dead sister here. I stared up at my house. It was night time. A whole 日 had passed. We had been realm skipping and ロスト sense of time. My dad and Carrie must have been worried sick about me. As I opened the door they came at me with open arms and worried frowns. I did not hug back. My news was grim and not worthy of their affection.
"Where's Sophie?" asked Carrie.
Shane came from behind me with the dead body of Sophie. She had a small wound where her ハート, 心 was. "We was coming ホーム and some guys attacked us. I tried to save her but . . ." I trailed off. All of the pain and misery I was holding in came spilling out as I my dad wrapped his arms around me. I cried that 日 もっと見る then I ever cried in my lifetime. It was incredibly. I didn't realize I was so shook up from it until now.
A week had passed. We were all gathered around Sophie's grave. The mahogany wood was luminous in the morning sun rays. Even after death, Sophie could make the most tragic of things beautiful. Shane had come to pay his respects along with some of Sophie's lousy friends. Most of them were whispering and giggling during the service. I snapped at them to shut up and them some of them left. I guess they weren't use to rude girls like me. The service was elegant, just the way Sophie would have wanted it. I knew I could visit her in The Ghost Realm but that place had too many bad memories. It was something I wouldn't do.
We was out in the graveyard when Shane came up 次 to me. He smiled. We walked in sync through the graves and neighbors paying their respects. When You're Gone によって Avril Lavigne replayed in my mind over and over.
"I've been thinking a lot lately," he said. "I can see ghost like あなた can. I know もっと見る about realms because my mom taught be a lot about this stuff. She could see ghost also. She and my father died a few months ago. I've been living with my grandmother. She doesn't understand my special abilities like my mom could. And I just want to say that I will fight with あなた till the end-" I kissed him. Before he could even mutter another word, I kissed him. I kissed him liked the world was going to die and 30 minutes. He kissed me back.
"I've been thinking too. I've been thinking that I ロスト my sister and I would kill myself if I ロスト あなた too. I won't let that happen." I kissed him once more.

Ya tell me,
Don't dance, don't dance,
Just stay inside and never go out
And scold me
All 日 long, all 日 long
What makes あなた think you're so damn awesome?
Don't ya know we have a life too, too?
We'd be sittin in watching TV
And I don't think あなた want that either
So what the heck can we do?
We're not just mindless robots with nothing else to do
We don't have time for homework
We just wanna have fun, fun, fun
We have a life, no time for homework
We can go ahead and play flag football
But I'm not goin inside
Why do あなた act like
There's nothin else better than
Doin homework all night long
I bet あなた never liked that when あなた were young
We've been playin outside
Now it's time to kick in and relax
No もっと見る time for homework, just sit back and do the things I 愛 to do
Cuz I gotta enjoy my life when I'm young.

I've been written
The painful truth,
Just two days ago,
When I was...betrayed.
He walked away from me
He threw me down in the sand
Like I was some little doll
Of little importance.
It was a scary thought
To think,
Of all those years...
When he took me in
Now he threw me down and that's that
I'm not a paper doll
So I will not be thrown down again
Cuz I am not a puppet
No one will control me with strings
I am invincible
I am an individual
No one shall make me suffer
Though I must cry sometimes....
Don't スイング me によって my head
Don't make me lose my mind
I don't want to destroy you
But I will, if あなた destroy me.
