This is a bit old, and probably irrelevant because we're so much further in the story now, but I decided to go ahead a write this anyways.

During season 4B, it was the first time our core group got separated and scattered everywhere. But what is interesting is that the entire 8 episodes focused on five specific relationships and the nature of all of these relationships is completely different.

ROMANCE:
The most obvious and easy relationship to develop is a romantic one. Here, it was giving to Sasha and Bob.

Game of Thrones is known for its famous 9th episodes, where they kill off big characters. I think The Walking Dead is having a pattern like that, but a bit different.

As we know, Scott Gimple was promoted to showrunner for the fourth season and has been the showrunner ever since. The first showrunner being Frank Darabont (first two seasons) and the 秒 one being Glen Mazzara (third season).

Ever since Gimple has been the showrunner, he has introduced a new character または a new group every 10th episode. I thought it was interesting to look into it.

Before the season starts back 次 week, I will make my review of the first half of season 7. Let's recap what went on in those eight episodes, shall we?



First of all, the premiere was good, but they stretch the deaths scene way too much, the audience had already waited 7 long months to finally find out who Negan killed and they still decided to only 表示する us halfway through the episode. Another bad decision on the writers' part. People were already pissed and they were able to piss them even more. Good job! Especially since 95% of the viewers had already figured out it was...

I've decided to write a review of every half seasons. And as I have already written a review of the entire series from season one to season 6A, I'll do a throwback and do one of 6B before I do 7A.



The season started back on Valentine's day, which is really ironic 与えられた the fact that Rick pretty much chops his girlfriend's arm off. After the shitty cliffhanger of episode 8, at least the payoff of that cliffhanger was great. It did take a really long time, but it payed off.

The death of the entire Anderson family was epic and true to the comics, and y'all know how I 愛 it...

As あなた all know, the official character portraits for season 7 were released a couple of days 前 and they are completely different from what they've done before.

First, they are completely red, usually they are pretty much desaturated または plain black and white like last season.

I get that the red refers to Negan and Lucille and the bloody kills that will occur in the premiere. But they still got my interest. Because usually, on the character portraits, the characters pretty much all kinda look alike. But not here. In these, they all have different facial expressions. I know nothing is ever done...

It took me a long time to write this, but after the Carl bullshit they pulled, I really wasn't in the mood, so I decided to wait after the holidays. So here I am.

Last season ended with both Team Family and the Saviors ready to go to war.





MERCY:
The premiere was so forgettable that I had to look up my own weekly review I did for it. It was really underwhelming. I did like the fighting stuff, but there was basically no depth to the episode. Just shooting and yelling and killing.

My biggest complaint is the stupid flash forward. That was so off-putting and didn't...
