Honestly, I'm glad that it happened. She's never been a very significant part of the plot, besides being the 愛 interest または the victim, and ever since Season 4 she hasn't even had a likable personality (imo). I do feel bad for her ファン though, I know I'd feel pretty ripped off if that had happened to one of my お気に入り characters.
In real life I think Nina Dobrev is an amazing actress and she had so much from TVD. Maybe it was time for her to 愛 on after 6 seasons but she shouldn't have thrown it all away just because she couldn't work with ian somerhalder any more. She shouldn't have let him do that to her.
