Here are some interesting facts about Sims...

Will Wright, the creator of The Sims house burned down and he had to make a new start, which gave him the idea of computerised people making a new start.

Will gave the idea to Maxis, the company who made the Simcity series, but they rejected it because they didn't think a computer could handle a game like that. He then gave the idea to EA , who made the game.

The working title for The Sims was "Dollhouse" but they changed it because they thought it would be hard to sell it to boys.

Real bands and singers have recorded songs in simlish.

In The Sims 1, The Grim Reaper first appeared in the Livin' Large

There are no stuff packs for The Sims 1.

EA are hinting that there will be a Sims 4 Pets expansion.

The rumoured release date for The Sims 5 is 2019. This has not been confirmed.

The Sims Freeplay has the same soundtrack as The Sims 3, except for the background music.

There is no " boolprop testing cheats enabled " equivalent in Sims 1.

EA were going to release a game called "Simsville" which was going to be a cross between Simcity and The Sims. They cancelled it.
