It SHOULD wrap up this season. The writers invested at least one season too many in finding this Red John and it degenerated into a Scooby Doo mystery (Kirkland, DHS). They also chose to kill off the one character who could have made Patrick Jane a 3D human being and kept this series alive--Lorelei Martens.

Kill off Red John and call it a series.
