Why do あなた guys hate Green 日 so much?

So あなた don't like The Killers any もっと見る because some of their ファン aren't fond of Green Day? Sorry, it doesn't make much sense to me. And "are we human または are we dancer?" または " i got soul but i'm not a soldier". Yes, they mean something. Listen to the entire song and then use your brain a little and something might come to you. Yes, I have listened to Green 日 and am familiar with many songs.I'm not so fond of them purely because it's not my kind of music, i'm not into their punk image which seems a bit contrived. It irritates me. I have nothing against Green 日 fans. If they have something against me then that's too bad. I 愛 The Killers because their lyrics mean something to me and are もっと見る than not wanting to be an "american idiot", they aren't afraid to dip into different styles of 音楽 , creative, Brandon has an amazing voice, and a million もっと見る reasons which I am not going to go into. And yes, I do like Holiday somewhat and Good Riddance.

Thirdly, before あなた start harping on at me, I am a HUGE Green 日 fan. Have been since 1994 when I first heard them. I also 愛 The Killers (admittedly not their newer stuff...).

My problem here is that people are entitled to like whoever they want to like. There is no obligation for anyone to like Green Day, または The Killers etc. People like what they like, and hate what they hate.

Sure, some people have decided that there is a Green 日 VS The Killers war (probably because of what Brandon 発言しました about Green 日 in 2004). In my opnion, thats lame and stupid and pathetic. We are all allowed to like whatever we want, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. But we don't have to shit on people who don't like what we like.

What あなた are doing here is EXACTLY the same thing that あなた are complaining about. Personally, I think the lyrics "I've got soul, but I'm not a soldier" are very, VERY meaningful. Just as meaningful as some of my favourite Green 日 lyrics. So some people may think that Green 日 lyrucs are just as "meaningless" as The Killer's lyrics that あなた think are "meaningless".

So, its great that あなた 愛 Green Day, and あなた don't have to like The Killers if あなた don't want to, but it seems to me that a lot of Green Day's lyrics encourage people to be themselves, not only によって standing up for what they believe in, but also によって accepting differences and celebrating diversity. I think if the boys from Green 日 saw your コメント here, they would be ashamed that あなた hadn't picked up on the messages that they have been trying to send their fans.

hmmm. Perhaps it's because everyone has their own taste in 音楽 and it isn't illegal to not like a band? Why in the world would anyone like anyone else less because of other people's opinions? That's a little churlish.

Why I 愛 The Killers: They're very diverse with their sound and lyrics, very creative, are a great live band, I KNOW WHAT THEIR LYRICS MEAN and that "are we human, または are we dancer?" and "I got soul, but I'm not a soldier" aren't just ランダム 名言・格言 and that they have a very meaningful background, I 愛 the sarcasm they add to their lyrics... All and all, they are just a good, solid band who are underappreciated but I don't really care because if I like them that's all that matters and I won't go complain about others' opinions.

Why I dislike Green Day: Billie Joe's voice pisses me off, 98% of their songs annoy me, their songs sound too much the same, they try too hard to be punk rock when they are indeed not, I just flat out don't care for their songs, sound, style, lyrics, vocals, etc. and they just don't appeal to me. And don't say I don't like them because Brandon お花 doesn't because I've never taken a liking to Green 日 in my whole life and have only been a Killers ファン for a little over a year. I and several other people in the world can form our own opinions without considering others'. That's what Brandon would call "human".

And I honestly don't care whether または not people like Green 日 または any other band in the world, because it's their personality and actions that I judge them by. I have met Green 日 ファン who are some of the nicest and decent people I've ever met, I won't let the fact that they like Green 日 または some other band/singer that I dislike get in the way of what could be a great person to know. In my life I've only met one actual Killers ファン and they're a great person. but I could meet a Killers ファン who could be the most vile person in the world. 音楽 has nothing to do with personality and I feel somewhat embarrassed for あなた right now.

Well, The Killers have always been my favourite band, since I was five and I'm thirteen now. To be honest, the way you've written this like (if intended), あなた have no right to judge us on why we like The Killers または not. I respect your opinion that あなた like them, so why can あなた not be the same? Brandon has even apologized for what he has said. Green Day, however, are my 2nd favourite and I 愛 them as much as The Killers. I won't ever change that. People always say to me, "How can あなた like them both after what Brandon お花 said? あなた do realize that, don't you?" well, it's because I'm actually mature and I can like whoever I want to like.
