Today I am going to teach あなた the BEST ceasar サラダ recipe ever, it even has ベーコン bits and...
Key, no.
Because
a) I don't know any good ceasar サラダ recipes
b) I don't want to anger the anti-spam goddess
c) I think the subject of what the heck the roman gods are doing in here is もっと見る interesting.
They are EVERYWHERE. Why, what, who, when? I'll try to answer those questions.
Why would the Roman gods be in this series?
Well as anyone who read my egyptian-mythology 記事 can tell you, I'm a little paranoid about mythologies clashing (Greek with Egyptian, Greek with Roman または all three at once, which would probably result in my head exploading).
Well, that's on of the reasons. Maybe all the evidence I have are little clues for all us 112 smart PJO ファン to pick up (this spot has 112 ファン right now btw).
Do I have proof? あなた bet I do! And あなた wont like it...
A) Jason, Jason, Jason...
Oh boy don't get me started... Too late.
This goes in two sub-parts.
Sub-part 1) According to Amph's 記事 "More information about the characters" (which is btw AWESOME) Jason...
"Likes:A coin that flips into a sword, speaking Latin, basketball, and flying
Dislikes:Amnesia"
I wonder if he supports the lakers... Either way, Jason speaks, not Ancient Greek, but LATIN.
The Ancient Greeks = spoke Ancient Greek
The Romans = spoke latins
Grr.
Sub-part 2) Faun? Venti? Remember that? That's what Romans called the Satyrs and Anemoi Thuellai after "borrowing" them from the Hellenism religion
(Hellenism is the worship of the Greek gods, Amphitrite's word). Why the Pluto (hihihi) is Jason using those words? Vell, I'm very glad あなた asked...
a) Lightning Thief, Percy vs Beafhead, ring a bell? (If not あなた haven't read that book in a LONG time) For those of あなた who do remember, you'll recall if Sally Jackson hadn't told him about its weaknesses (so the myths) he would've been screwed :O So what if Mrs. Jason's-mom taught him the myths when he was a kid, it could be as casual as a bed-time story, except to prevent him from associatign himself to Boreas, she told him the ROMAN myths, most of which are exactly the same thing. And when his memory got erased, either the person mildly cared for him and left him that knowledge in case of emergency または it was a powerful memory that resisted the whatever-erased-his-memory.
b) Jason is from a 秒 camp. I hear あなた all "OMG there's two?" Yup, I'ms telepathic threw technology, I see your eyes lighting up and all. But no.
This camp would either be an anti-camp, for demigods who even after he was vanquished support Kronos または some other meany または it is for children of the Roman gods. または maybe its children of the Greek gods who are fooled into believing in the Roman gods and co. または its a camp the minor demigods created to hide out and sit things out until they got respect... Ooh... Either way, Jason would come from the camp where they'd refer to Zeus and co. によって their roman equivalents.
B) This is from the Last Olympian, and I am very happy I saw it.
So Percy and Will are heading in the GG (good guy/gal) HQ to save Annabeth's life. This statue holding フルーツ is outside and Percy accidentally calls her Deemeter. Yeah, well she doesn't like that. So she throws フルーツ at them cause she's actually Pomona the ROMAN GODDESS OF PLENTY. あなた heard (read) me THE ROMAN GODDESS OF PLENTY...
So Daedalus built an anamatron of a roman goddess. So what? So...
1) Even for a genius an anamatron takes time to make. Ask Hephaestus! So why would he waste his time building the statue of a goddess that isn't real and that he doesn't believe him instead of another demigod, importan mortal または whatever? I have this theory that he wanted to build a Greek goddess because he luvs her または unlimited number of reasons, but since the statues were at his service, he didn't want the gods to think that he considered himself higher then him, so, voilà, Roman equivalent.
Some, to down that idea, might say, "why not Minerva? She's sort-of his mom"
I have better proof.
Pomona doesn't have a Greek side.
Well now that that's covered here comes my 秒 question. How?
At the beggining the Roman gods were just the Greeks によって a different name. Chiron 発言しました so! (maybe he lied and is evil O_O JK, not Chiron)
Two words for yah. Sun. Chariot.
Yup, あなた heard me, Sun chariot.
How did Apollo build the sun chariot?
"This chariot is built out of human dreams about the sun, kid."
(p. 50, Titan's curse)
Apollo's precise words everybody, precise word.
So what if human dreams of the Roman gods created a seperated being? A whole other god, just as immortal, just as powerfull, and just as peacefull. (sarcasm, sarcasm)
Another theory I heard when the discussion turned to Hera, and that I like.
あなた know how coins have heads and tails right? What if gods were like coins? There's a Greek part in them and the other is Roman. One part is probably dominant. Let's go with the Greek one. But its like a power-struggle for the control of the body itself. So eventually, in a week moment, the dominant part oculd switch. And then of course (let's say Juno takes over Hera) Juno must want to bring all the other Greeks down with some demoniachal scheme. I say the-theory-above and あなた say quest! Theory-above! *quest!*
But this opens a wide range of possibilities. もっと見る gods to dislike Percy, もっと見る monsters maybe? I don't know, Roman myths aren't my thing, But maybe, Juno isn't like Hera that much. Maybe she has demigods ('cause lets face it, if they're anything like the Greeks, the romans must have a lot of kids, and the Big 3 must have some too if they are their own people as well!) And maybe Jupiter's kids aren't like Thalia, Hercules and Perseus. See? If the roman gods are in this, it messes up all our theories!
I'll give あなた a piece of evidence backing up the coin theory.
The picture of Hera: it doesn't look like Hera. Her dress is gold, she's holding a weird staff thing and the bird on her shoulder is definetly not a peackock. Maybe its Juno's symbolic birdie? Maybe Hera went on What not to wear? または maybe there's a myth about that too (Amph, あなた hear that?)
Say all that is true, say there is a roman camp for roman demigods. This is a plot idea that could emerge (V look down).
There would be a BIG rivalry here. So maybe CHB decided to flood a キャビン with ceasar サラダ dressing, I don't know. So then, since most roman gods and the romans themselves seem もっと見る extreme, they do the unthinkable. They kidnap Percy Jackson (which is the equivalent of kidnapping the quenne of England at this point).
So CHB leads a raid to look for him. They bring the Stolls to take away the toilet paper too. But Percy isn't there. So they kidnap their hero too. Jason whats-his-last-name!
But the campers were trailed on their way back, so they do a quick ditch-the-demigod-in-a-school-bus-and-erase-his-memory trick (they do it all the time!), knowing Hedge'll watch Jason until an extraction team comes, to conveniently pick up Leo and Piper too. But they don't make it back to camp, so then Annabeth has NO CLUE WHATSOEVER of what's going on and she thinks Percy is there and that's why she isn't happy with Jason, but figuring he is in the moment harmless and is her best shot of finding the one-whose-brain-is-Seaweed, doesn't capture him. See?
So maybe the quest is to go to a building (*cough* シャトー on the cover *cough cough*) and trade Percy for Jason, but only 2 others are allowed. Huzzah! Plot! Right after Rick Riordan fixes all the plot holes! (probably not but あなた get the point. If あなた didn't, my point is the possibility of Romans if they are または are not in this ((you decide)) opens up the worlds of theories further then any of us have stepped in yet. Oh look, there's my conclusion! See yah!)
