I think Peter is still an Alpha because when Laura Hale died she was still in full 狼, オオカミ form until Stiles messed with the wolfsbane.

This couldn't be anymore wrong. Okay, the reason SHE was in full 狼, オオカミ form was because the wolfsbane kept her into that form! She didn't even die in her alpha form, I saw it on an episode (in which episode? I forgot) and most ファン think it was a burial ritual. 秒 of all, Peter's eyes are blue, not red. Seriously. He's a Beta.
Actually, I read this off of a website. Derek is still an Alpha and Peter is a weak Beta wolf, but I think he's got a plan to try and get back to power as an Alpha wolf
