no.i think trent WAS going insane.
1.i never noticed his 9 thing in tdi EVER.
2.at first trent was all calm and cool,BUT in tda he was like, FREAKING OUT.
3.gwen let the killer grips vote him off to PROVE she did not want him throwing chalenges for her.

Trent was a little crazy, but it was only because he loved Gwen so much. I probably would have been freaked out too if I was Gwen. I mean, Trent was insane! I don't think Gwen would have broke up with Trent if he had acted like he did when he was on TDI. Gwen really liked him! It wasn't harsh that Gwen broke up with Trent, because I don't think she felt so happy about it either. He was throwing challenges for her though and that's not cool. She did want to win, but not because she cheated. Gwen could have just talked to Trent to find out that the number 9 thing wasn't because of her, then if she told him she didn't want to win that way, I'm sure he would have stopped throwing challenges.

To be honest i dont think it was harsh, but i think it was wrong. i think instead of breaking up with him she should have talked to him. Like wats with the 9 thing? and plz stop throwing chalenges for me i want to win this for myself. then a cute make out session while he was still in his towle to シール the deal.

Honestly, I don't think it was harsh. But telling his team to vote him off was harsh. I mean, I feel sorry for Trent, but I would get irritated too if my boyfriend became completely lovestruck and wouldn't stop being an idiot. The number 9 thing got on her nerves. It would to many people.
But I think Gwen was just so exhausted with finally breaking up with him that she didn't know what she was doing when she told his team to vote him off.

Well, I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. In a way, it wasn't harsh, because Trent was going crazy for her and obviously it was creeping her out, plus she didn't know the 9 obsession had nothing to do with her. And plus, letting her win all those challenges was kind of wrong, it should have been fair. But it also was kind of harsh, since Trent was just trying to prove that he loved her, plus she told his team to vote him off, and that was just mean, although she was trying to prove that she wasn't supporting the him-letting-her-win-challenges-unfairly-thing.

After a lot of thinking I have settled on this:

She shouldn't have broken up with him. They should've sat down and had a long talk about it, discuss what they really felt. Trent could have explained that the 9 thing was not about her, and Gwen could explain how she thought Trent was going a little insane with the whole thing and plus how letting her win challenges wasn't right. And they'd come to an agreement of some sort, then they'd キッス ( awww that would be sweet! :D )
