Stefan & Elena 質問

I know alot of people believe that, since LJ was fred, that Stelena has the book endgame in the bag, but I wanted to hear your thoughts. Do あなた think Stelena will be endgame?

Remember, Stelena got endgame in the orignal series, so no matter what happens, we still have that.

Hi Tawny—

It’s all too true, and I’m tired of telling people that I’ll “keep up the good work on Vampire Diaries” etc. when I’ve known since last 年 that I will not be allowed to write any もっと見る of the series.

The why behind it is simple. When I was called and asked to do a vampire trilogy, it was によって a book packager, whose name is now Alloy Entertainment Ltd. I signed a contract to the work “for hire” without knowing—or without having my agent explain—what that meant. Simply put, it meant that although I have written all of the Vampire Diaries books, I do not own them. Even if the copyright is in my name, I can’t get anybody to 公開する them except through Alloy. And Alloy and Harper made plans so that through a loophole in my latest contract they could substitute an anonymous ghostwriter whenever they wanted. They let me write Phantom, but instead of edits gave me a letter addressed to the ghostwriter, saying to completely rewrite the book. I was also informed that I would not be allowed to even コメント on the rest of the Vampire Diaries books. I fought them and fought them, even when my agent told me it was useless. And it is useless. Midnight is the last book I’ll ever write in this series. Stella ファン can rejoice, because although all these high power people refused to give me any reason as to why a raw young ghostwriter was being put in my place, I suspect that the things I’ve been doing with Damon, Elena, Bonnie, and Meredith are the reason they gave me the boot. Book packagers are used to submissive writers who do exactly as they’re told, and I am not like that. (Most writers go to book packagers because they can’t get published on their own.) I dared to defy them and write the 本 the way I felt was most honest.

And now I’m not only devastated myself, but sorry for all Vampire Diaries fans. Phantom may sound a bit like my own 書く because they have my manuscript to work with. After that it’s all the anonymous ghostwriter’s gig. Well, hers and about six people editing her work afterwards.

Sorry to have to 確認 such news. I’ll never forget all the wonderful Vampire Diaries ファン who made 書く for them such a pleasure.
