There is no spark between them at all people!!! They're just friends Elena is his soulmate!!! I can only imagin that Delena is the one who came up with the rediculous idea of Sonnie!!

^ the same is actually about Bamon , imo Bonnie has romantic chemistry only with Stefan and their romance storyline can be the most interesting Bonnie could ever get!

I love Stefan and Bonnie as characters but to have them wrapped together romantically would only take away from them on all accounts because Stefan is Elena's 'love' and Bonnie is her 'Best friend'. I'd hate for the writers to taint her/him by cheapening their moral code. They'd both know better.
