some might say that the series should be left as it is, but I trust that you'll write a fantastic book again :)

I am so excited. You have no idea how excited I am. I started reading Skulduggery in my early years of high school. I basically grew up alongside Val! And now there will be MOAR Skulduggery!? *high pitched screams of delight*

Omg I'm so excited! Everyone's still asleep and I have a feeling I may have woke them up by literally screaming with excitement. It's going to be fantastic!!

I haven't been able to get into the Demon Road series so more Skulduggery is fantastic news.

I have been reading these books since I was 11 and now I'm 19 I'm so so happy that there is a tenth book coming out! Best news ever I love the series so much!

I have been reading since I was 12, a lot of authors, a lot of series and a lot of books. Some emotional books. I never cried.

Derek Landy hands me Skulduggery 8 and 9 and the prick makes me cry! He ruined me!!! I have only gotten out of my book coma that was cause by book 9!!

Be warned Landy, if I shed a tear from book 10 to whatever number, I shall write you in something and kill you horribly and then hit you over the head with a book the next time I see you.

OMG....Thank you thank you thank you Mr Landy, hoping Donegan and Gracious are still alive. All Skulduggery characters are totally awesome, can't wait. Ronnie (age 12)

This post is over. Well, Series 1 of the post anyway...

I saw the email newsletter notification appear & think my 1st thought was "So TDOTL isn't it?" followed by a shrug or 2 and a dry 'hmph', to be honest. I mean, I'm looking forward to it, and you'll probably find me in the obscenely-long queue-mageddon that is a Bluewater Signing.

Part of me wasn't 'that' surprised that TDOTL wasn't completely it, given its loose interpretation of how one goes about a final book in the series - loose ends are tied up, and new ones aren't created - but maybe I'm just being cynical.

For Season 3 of this comment, I'm going to remind you that SPI was NOT released in Sreleased in Summer '07, nay, it was released in APRIL of that year.

Due to nosediving ratings, exceeding my budget, and the cast wanting to move on to other things, I'm using Season 4 of this comment to wrap my coment up

Yeah, that's great. My son started to read No. 1 in June. Now he has a lot to read till 2017. Blut he is really excited. It's the only book he is really interested in.

Derek Landy writes the Skulduggery Pleasant series because getting a proper job is so overrated.
