Have あなた seen "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince"? If あなた have, do あなた think that Severus Snape finally got enough time to shine, or, it was just the same that in other 映画 (cut scenes, changed plot...)?

I loved him in this movie. He's the coolest! When Harry runs after him and wants him o fight back and he keeps repelling his spells... Loved that scene because あなた know that he did the right thing and あなた can really feel what a good person he is. At the same time あなた can understand what it must look like if あなた don't know. Does someone know anybody who hasn't read the 本 and watched the movie? I'm wondering what they think about Snape after watching the film.
What I didn't like is that he really had very little screentime!!

I haven't read the 本 yet (but will do so, promised !). However, I'm becoming もっと見る and もっと見る familiar with HP universe as I've started to write fanfic about Severus. I've read the plot enough to get a grasp about Severus' role in the series.
In the movie, I found the crucial moment when he spells the Avada Kedavra against Dumbledore, had not been 与えられた enough time. Looks like the murder is seen through Harry's eyes only (while he cannot grasp the full situation as he's witnessing the action from down below the platform in the Tower). I would have rather seen a much もっと見る intense exchange in gazes between Severus and Albus, something that would have hinted us that this is a mercy killing, that this was another burden added to Severus' conscience to avoid Draco being trapped in the act of murder. The movie does not 表示する that Dumbledore is soon to die and ask his best friend Severus to kill him out of mercy. The dimension of "everything I do is motivated によって love" at the core of Severus' actions would have begun to be revealed and would have enhance the moral ambiguity of Severus, who is not totally bad after all a character (on the contrary). It would have added もっと見る emotional momentum to the scene, which is a crucial step to the rest of the story ahead.
Otherwise Alan Rickman is still wonderful and his voice... I look フォワード, 前進, 楽しみにして to the last installments and I truly hope that this time, he will be 与えられた full time on screen as every thing is on his shoulders - above all the scene when he dies and reveals his memories to him as well as his undying devotion and 愛 for Lily. He deserves it !

Personally, I never think he gets enough time to shine ;) But he was supposed to have such a large part and he was in the movie for maybe ten minutes. With the exception of Quirrel, every DADA teacher had at least one lesson on screen. Snape didn't. The scene with Draco, "arguing" with Dumbledore and the chase scene at the end were all chopped. It was a big disappointment.

My fave was Slughorn's party, where Cormac puked on Snape's shoes, Snape's reaction was bloody priceless hahaha!! But otherwise im really happy with Alan's performance in HBP!

NO!!! Oh my god this movie disappointed me so freaking much. This was Severus' chance to really shine, and...god, in my opinion it was such a bloody disappointment....Severus deserves so much もっと見る than that!

Well I think Sev hadn't the right time, it was supposed to be his movie, after all he is the Half-Blood Prince. I loved the movie, but... well Sev didn't have enoug time to shine. All the scenes he appeared, well I loved those moments. I loved when he got to the bathroom to make the countracourse of the sectumsempra it was well it was jut fantastic like him. And the perfomance when he killed Dumbledore it wasgreat too, such a great peformance, あなた may actually believe it! But when Harry came after him, and he did not attac well that was great too, he demostrate that h is not the person everyone thinks he is!! It's just lovely!

YESYESYES!!!! Finally, I got to see Sev in action. He sure did got his screen-time, but I still expect to see even もっと見る of him at the 7th movie.

I have seen the movie 2 times already and I say あなた can never have enough of Snape, so of course, I think that he didn't have a big enough part in the movie. I feel that the since the book focuses on Snape, that the movie should have had もっと見る with him. He finally gets to teach Defence Against the Dark Arts and they don't even have any of that class in the movie. He is such a great character and is, I think, largely misunderstood.

He was in the movie もっと見る than I expected him to be, but less than I would wish him to be. Plus some of his scenes very totally dissapointing.... I'm mostly talking about The Astronomy Tower and Escape scenes. I was so looking フォワード, 前進, 楽しみにして to them after 読書 the book and all I got was a プレビュー of what should have been shown :( And no single DADA lesson? Really? No "Don't call me coward"?? Ahhhhhhhhh....

Snape did get to shine mostly near the end and when he was helping Draco, but he was always one of the important characters in the other movies

Actually, I skipped almost all the scenes that Severus wasn't in.
Besides I didn't like the movie at all, Severus sure was a highlight.At least one character to be looking forwards to.
Some of his scenes were..weird.He appeared, 発言しました something absolutely unnecesary for the plot (though director obviously didn't want too much of a plot in his piece of work) and disappeared again.What was that good for?Teasing fangirls who wanted to see more?
The scene at Spinner's End was my absolute favourite in the books, full of atmosphere, allowing Severus to truly shine, explaining A LOT.In the movie is was nothing but a disappointment.

We have like 5 分 of Severus in the whole movie...

I also have to add that I think, apart from OOTP, this is the movie he has the least screen time!

I will put this simply:
The もっと見る Snape on screen = The better the movie

I did want もっと見る Snape, I agree with the others when they say あなた can't have too much Snape. あなた can't. I wanted him in every scene who cares if it doesn't follow the book, what fucking HP movie has yet?
