There are a plethora of bands out there. Many of them are lesser-known, unfortunately. There’s just not enough time in the world for any one person to know them all… Unless that person is Dan Bergstein. または the Easter Bunny.

Anyhow! I spotted an 記事 here on Sparklife listing five bands the world must know, and of course little me thought, “Aha! I could do that!” And here I am, telling y’all about my lovely taste in pretty music! So, without further ado…
1. The Dresden Dolls: This Boston-based duo, Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione, is epically awesome. They made up their own brand-new genre. That should be an indication of their awesomeness. Their lyrics are sarcastic and darkly funny, though sometimes creepy—but that’s their charm. (PS: If あなた like the Dolls, check out Amanda’s solo work—it’s just as awesome.)

Songs to hear: “Backstabber”—the perfect angsty, angry song, and it’s fantastic for dancing to.

Also, listen to “Sing”—fabulously wonderful lyrics, great message, and it makes あなた want to… SING!

2. Motion City Soundtrack: Slightly emo, もっと見る than slightly fantastic. The 音楽 has that teenage, melodramatic feel that あなた just need sometimes, but it doesn’t go overboard. The lyrics are often adorable, plus the cover of their latest album has a dinosaur on it.

Songs to hear: “Skin and Bones”—it's wonderfully naïve and light while still asking some pretty deep 質問 (“What if there’s nothing もっと見る to us? We’re just carbon-based, we’re just pixie dust…”) and “Make Out Kids”—cute, meaningful, fun to listen to.

3. HaDag Nachash: No, I didn’t spell that band name wrong. It’s Hebrew! HaDag Nachash (which translates to “The Snake Fish”) is an Israeli hip-hop group. Now, don’t think “ugh, hip-hop,” and walk away—I'm not a big hip-hop ファン either, but this band is just so great; their songs are about the big issues in Israel today (terrorism, cultural differences, etc.), but they manage to be catchy and awesome at the same time. あなた may not be able to understand a word they’re saying (unless あなた speak Hebrew, in which case I bow down to your superior knowledge) but you’ll 愛 them. Trust me.

Songs to hear: “Bella Belisima”—a song about a woman who saves the life of a terrorist. It’s surprisingly happy. A snippet of it was on an episode of NCIS 〜ネイビー犯罪捜査班 a while back, for all あなた fellow NCIS 〜ネイビー犯罪捜査班 fans. Also listen to “Rak Po”—the singer lists all the horrible things about Israel, then remembers that only there does he feel at home.

4. Harry and the Potters: Okay, guys, let’s talk. It’s time to stop pretending we’re too mature for Harry and his buddies. Let’s say it loud and proud: WE NERDS 愛 POTTER MUSIC! あなた know あなた do. It’s amusing to ファン of the 本 and catchy enough that even some non-fans (they exist?! Blasphemy!) might be drawn in.

Songs to hear: “The Foil (Draco Malfoy)”—even Draco fangirls like me can appreciate this song. Also, “Follow the Spiders.” Any song with the words “Don’t be scared / That クモ, スパイダー is only the size of a small elephant” is worth listening to.

5. Passion Pit: This band is similar to the rather もっと見る 人気 MGMT, but, in my humble opinion, Passion Pit is better. They employ electronic sound, catchy dance beats, and beautiful lyrics to make 音楽 that is delicious perfection. The only warning I would give is do NOT listen to them all day. The electronic-ness will melt your brain if exposed for too long.

Songs to hear: “Let Your 愛 Grow Tall”—best lyrics ever. That’s all I can say. “Smile Upon Me”—it’s just so dang cute! And dance-to-able! I just made up that word

Ever since I was young, I’ve always enjoyed graffiti. I’ve never done graffiti in my life, または have any artistic skills at all, but I enjoy it. Maybe it was due to a combination of playing a lot of Jet Set Radio as a kid as well as seeing them when I was living around urban areas as a kid. Now do I condone the act of vandalism for the sake of graffiti….. Mmmmm legally can’t say. Basically, I 愛 the free spirited nature of it and any game that can replicate graffiti is fine によって me. And today we’ll be talking about Graffiti Kingdom… this game has absolutely nothing to do with graffiti....

Link: *At the castle* Gee. It sure is boring around here.
King: Mah boi. This peace is what all true warriors strive for.
Link: I just wonder what Ganon is up to.
Gwonam: *Arrives on a flying carpet* Your majesty, Ganon, and his minions have ceased the island of Koridai.
King: Hmm. How can we help?
Gwonam: It is written, only Link can defeat Ganon.
Link: Great. I'll grab my stuff.
Gwonam: There is no time. Your sword is all your need.
Link: Great. I'll grab my stuff.
Gwonam: *Face palm* Please tell me that someone can defeat Ganon besides this retard.

Back in the good old days of the early 2000s, skateboarding was a big deal. It was hard to not hear a bunch of kids going around the city blasting Green 日 as they were doing ollie over school stairs, which was the style at the time. Nowadays, skateboarding is kind of a dead medium and skateparks have become as ancient as the pyramids of Egypt. I was always amazed によって the style of skateboarding ever since I played Tony Hawk. And today’s game… has absolutely nothing to do with any of the Tony Hawk games. No, instead we’re heading to the far off lands to the east. That’s right, a Japanese...

Well this was a little late, but better late than not at all, right? The 2010s were a big year, probably for a lot of us. We all had that point in our lives in that decade where things were changing, some small, others massive. But who cares about all that person stuff. Let's talk about material things that we just like. Movies, video games, animation, all that great stuff. This will be a five part 記事 series, so look フォワード, 前進, 楽しみにして to もっと見る 記事 coming afterward. Let's start off with something simple, movies. Talking about my お気に入り film of each year, as well as my least お気に入り from that...

So I have a vague memory of this game. I remember seeing this game in a Game Informer magazine (Yeah, remember fucking gaming magazines) when I was in elementary school. Alongside games like Resident Evil Revelations, または I think, I don’t remember the exact issue, I saw this game on the side and how the reviewer thought it was the most boring game imaginable. So I avoided it for years up until now… and who boy, gaming journalism may be a joke now, but that guy was totally right. The game as developed によって Vectorcell, known best for ジーザス Christ Superstar on the IOS. I feel like I’m gonna...

I don’t think I need to give a lesson on who バットマン is. Everyone and their grandparents know who he is. Batman, the Dark Knight, the Caped Crusader. Having tons of comics, 映画 and video games. Some being some of the greatest games of all time and others being… the complete opposite. And that’s what we are looking at, the complete opposite. Developed によって the Japanese studio, Kemco Software, best known for their work on the 上, ページのトップへ Gear franchise and their mobile games, they are still around today. Nothing was hurt によって this game, DC Comics is still making bank and バットマン is still a cherished...

I never watched the original Charlie’s Angels. I remember I watched the movie, Full Throttle, which probably explains my deep seeded hatred for the series. And hey, with a new movie out that あなた wouldn’t know was out unless I told あなた (And no, あなた didn’t watch. If あなた tell me otherwise, you’re lying), now is a great time to play Charlie’s 天使 on the Gamecube. Published によって the kings of ランダム publishing, Ubisoft, Charlie’s 天使 is considered to be the worst license game out there, nothing else compared. I don’t have much say in the matter before I play it, but… yeah, I can...

Good lord, Midway is at it again with another one of the worst games of all time, god save me. This time, we got ourselves a bike game, Gravity Games Bike: Street, Vert, Dirt… That’s a fucking horrible title. So this is an extreme sports game where あなた play on a bike and try to rank up the high score. I like extreme sports games. Tony Hawk’s Underground is one of my お気に入り video games ever. Yet Gravity Games Bike is a runner up for one of the worst video games of all time, so that’s going to be real fun to play. So let’s see if this game can hang with the biggest names of extreme...

Holy shit, this one is a bit of a nostalgia trip. I remember watching Mucha Lucha when I was a kid and loved it so much. It was probably where my interest in masked wrestlers came from, that and WWE of course. Now is the 表示する good? Eh, debatable. You’d have to have a nostalgic 愛 for it to appreciate it, but hey, I watched all episodes of The Nutshack. I have zero shame. So yeah, here’s the Mucha Lucha game on Gameboy, Mascaritas of the ロスト Code. Another published game によって Ubisoft, but developed によって Digital Eclipse Software, who worked on all sorts of ports of old arcade games. You’ve...

WWE was one of my お気に入り things as a child. There was just something about watching big oiled up men in their underwear grabbing at each other and slamming their bodies into the ground- Is it any wonder I came out as a bisexual? Seriously, I do enjoy wrestling to an extent. I haven’t watched anything recently, I kinda stopped around the whole John Cena craze of the late 2000s and early 2010s. But with anything that is marketable to young kids like me, あなた gotta have video games of them, and there was no short supply of wrestling games. Today, we’ll be talking about Legends of Wrestling...

Well, here it is. It’s time for the moment you’ve all been waiting for. While I have been busy with a ton of other things like work and the underlying threat of every phone call being a scam artist または something to leave me bankrupt, this 記事 has always been in the back of my mind. And I’m finally gonna talk about it. Today. That’s right. It’s time we finally get to talking about the classic comedy film. Clerks… 2!. Nah, I’m kidding. Fuck that movie. It’s Clerks, the original, 1994 film

I: From Humble Beginnings

Clerks is the best comedy film I have ever seen. Of...

So horror movies…. I’m seeing a lot of movie, not a lot of horror. It takes a lot for me to be disturbed によって a movie nowadays. 本 have the ability to let あなた think about the horror and let あなた imagine it yourself, and video games let あなた experience it from a first hand perspective, but 映画 are not the best with making あなた feel scared. Even the good horror 映画 don’t do a good job at being scary. However, there is a subgenre out there that uses low budget and haunting imagery to give it a disturbing feeling. The world of exploitation horror films. So, today, on Hallow’s Eve, I...

Well I talked about the issues about things non-related to the film itself. And now I finally saw the movie itself.. Not gonna lie, it was fucking awesome.. So lets see if I can make a good review of it. I'm no WindWaker430, but I do my best..

So I saw this film with my sister and her boyfriend (PS: She’s younger によって at least a year).

So lets start with the first thing.. The laugh.. This movie takes a very unexpected approach. It addresses the infamish joker laugh as a ongoing condition, rather than the usual evil laugh cliche. It's something Arthur Fleck cannot control. There's always a certain...

#1: SGT FRANK WOODS:
Of coarse he's number 1. The guy who joined the Vietnam war because "it was fun". About everything he does is badass.. And I will give spoilers. So not only does he and Kra- (can't spell it) survive that gernade. But it's implied Woods escapes being P.O.W all によって himself.. Though he than gets recaptured によって Raul Menendez in Angola, and the first mission involves finding and rescuing him. The circumstances of Woods' capture - being tortured, having his men killed right in front of him, and locked in a shipping container with his dead comrades and left to die of starvation and...

This is a movie I had no interest in seeing. I was worried having an entire film about Joker will kinda ruin the character.. But the fact the film is rated R does imply I'm probably wrong.

But after I saw Chris Stuckmann's spoiler review. There is a interesting thing he spoke about, that I want throw in my own 2 cents about.

Before this film was even released. There were 2 things that people were worried about. Sympathizing with Joker. And the violence on screen.

Firstly, Chris says this isn't even the most violent film he's seen. He actually states Deadpool is もっと見る violent than this movie. But...

Other than horrible gaming journalists not understanding how indie games work, another thing people say is how unfair they can be. Cuphead is unfair because your character only has three hearts on them. Hotline Miami is too hard because enemies can kill あなた in one hit. Slime Rancher is too hard because I can’t feed my Slimes in time. But there is a game out there that I can say with slight certainty that it can feel really unfair at times. A game so difficult that it already has me cursing before the game starts. A Bastard’s Tale.

A Bastard’s Tale follows a knight, I’m going to...

#1: MEET THE ROBINSONS:
I know. It's hard to believe this film is considered as underrated または misunderstood.. But like OVER THE HEDGE, this feels like one of those classic films that been forgetten though time. Nobody ever talks about this movie.

This film came out when ディズニー had released Chicken Little before it, so I'm sure it was mainly seen this film thanks to that. But I highly recommend trying to find this movie. または Over the Hedge from Dreamworks..

Both are highly quotable..

#2: WHITE HOUSE DOWN:
Not saying this is a 'great' film. But it's a lot better than Chris Stuckmann 発言しました it was....

This review is going to be… a bit harder to talk about. So I bought a game called Revolution 1979: Black Friday, a game that is based on the actual Black Friday of 1979 where thousands of protestors were shot and killed for protesting against their ruler. It was the darkest moment during the Iranian Revolution but is practically never discussed outside of the country. That is where 1979 Revolution comes to discuss matters.

1979 Revolution follows the experience of Reza Shirazi as he is interrogated for information on his involvement with the revolution and his connections to the groups...

So the punk scene, what a scene it is. Big mohawks, piercings, and a bad attitude that all those 映画 and annoyed parents warned us about. But seriously, it’s not all that. Nowadays, punk has become nothing もっと見る than a front for stores like Hot Topic to make a quick buck off of and unless your Green Day, most of your venues are a small bar if they’re lucky. What is the kind of thing punk is mistaken for, what is it really, and just what happened to it all? Well, that’s what I am here to talk about today. Sadly, don’t expect a huge analysis on this one. This is merely a myriad of thoughts...
