Can someone please tell me how あなた create 'fan art'?

I've seen other fans' work, and thought they were all awesome :)

So they inspired me to create my own...

Does anyone know how あなた do this? If yes, please explain how. Thank you! > 2

I use Photoshop CS4 to do アイコン and fanart, so あなた can either buy that (it's expensive) または find a torrent または find a program that is similar to Photoshop (though none will be as good) and download it for free. Once あなた have it the Photoshop website and YouTube have tons of tutorials on everything あなた could possibly do to teach あなた how do make fanart, icons, etc.
