Definitely some merit to this. Eg: round up all the racists and transport them to Mars. They can have their white ethnostate, we can be rid of the racist idiots. It's a win-win!
Zan covered the 1% already so I'm gonna go with nationalism.
Nationalism is currently impeding climate change action, it's hindering science, it's reinforcing global inequality, it's fostering (and being fostered by) the rise of neofascist movements. Our greatest problems are now international in scope. Humanity needs to become a もっと見る united and international force in order to tackle them.

Good old climate change deniers. Gotta 愛 em', right? XD
I had this experience with a person in my friend group 0_o She seemed nice but I wasn't sure whether I liked her personality-wise... idk just some ランダム shit she said/did that didn't really click with me. Then one 日 we're on a big group holiday together and she comes out with a "yeah I really 愛 learning about conspiracy theories!" and 次 up a "I don't think we're causing climate change, if it's even happening at all... there have been climate variations in the past" and honestly I was so shook. Although it did provide some validation to my people-discerning sensors coz I always knew that gal was suss lmao
I am also super non-confrontational irl so I had to quietly be like "hmm I understand where you're coming from, but... [a little sentence to the effect of "climate reacts to whatever to whatever forces it to change at the time; humans are now the dominant force"]. In my head I was screaming in dismay.
