Why does everyone hates Near?

Not everyone hates Near. That's a blanket statement. I myself happen to like Near as a character and there's plenty of other fans. Also it's obvious why people do. Most people hate Near because they feel he is a cheap imitation of L（デスノート） They feel the same with Mello. Quite a few people literally dropped the 表示する when 発言しました SPOILER happened. (You know what happened and I do as well. Don't spoil it for others if they wanna watch it)

I didn`t hate Near, but it was quite a change after L（デスノート） that I wasn`t sure how to feel about. Like, I wouldn`t say that I hate him and he was totally fine, but I just wish the 'twist' with Rem would`ve gone a different route.

I don't hate him, he has his own personality just like any other characters
If people hate that's only because they 愛 L（デスノート） way to much and never bothered to give Near a chance plus people hate for no reason just to 登録する a hate fandom
to be cool and shit

I just hate pretty much everything about Death Note. There isn't any characters I particularly like, although Near is at least a slight improvement over the colossal fuck-up of a detective that is L.

But I'm honestly in the minority with that opinion. Most people I know that have seen Death Note LIKE Near

I don't hate Near. Although I do think he's a bit underwhelming in comparison to L.

I don't hate him. He is a cool character in Death Note.
