I don't see how that remotely make any sense why would あなた wish for any technology not to be created. It's very selfish of an individual if they dislike it so much just don't use it. It isn't hard. There's no technology I wish didn't exist. Technologies are only tools and tools are only as good as the person using them.

Maybe that person thinks that specific technology is bad for humanity. Like a lot of old people think computers changed us for worse; Because we use it so much and don't get out as much and become less social, this was just an example of how some people could think some technology is bad.
