I was wondering

Is a crazy guy/man または a guy/man 芝居 crazy (often) portrayed as dangerous and violent as well as unstable while a crazy girl/woman または a girl/woman 芝居 crazy is (often) portrayed as cute and amusing as well as playful especially in mainstream media? Also would that be considered a double standard?
