i've been through something like this, except my ex is one of my best フレンズ and i still like him, and our フレンズ rlly want us to be together so one of them asked him out for me and he 発言しました no. He now knows that i still like him, but i figured things would be awkward between us, but they weren't!! he still gives me hugs and walks, talks and hangs out with me. but the moral of the story is tell, i know it's relly hard, but if he's really your best friend he'll make things work no matter what
