Ideas

So my crush invited me to the local swimming pool and told me to invite some of my フレンズ and I really want to go but I hate wearing my 水着 in front of anyone, like seriously the only people who have seen me in my swimmers are my really close friends. I was thinking we could all go to the shopping mall または somewhere else but how do I suggest that instead of the swimming pool? What should my excuse be for not being able to go to the pool?
