What does "69" mean?

My フレンズ were laughing about it while 読書 some manga. I was completely lost. Apparently, if I don't know what it means, then I'm too young.

I flipped them off and left.

69 is a number between 68 and 70. Your フレンズ must have been laughing about it because it was a number in its 60s, which can be considered an impressive number because it's so relatively high when compared to the classic number, 50, which is on the verge of making it into and even higher decade of numbers! It's kinda funny how the Universe can work like that. No matter how great something seems, it most usually can and will be topped によって something that soon makes the old thing look ridiculous. ^.^
