We don't need props... It's just a little something あなた get for doing whatever it was that made あなた deserve it. I guess it's just there to 表示する what you've done that made people happy または what your ファン gave あなた just to be nice.

It comes from an expression. When someone does something awesome, someone says "props" (or something like that). The site just made it literal.

So people will answer questions. If あなた really want alot of people to answer a question,say that you're giving props.
