to be エモ doesn't mean to be fuckin sad all the time, あなた know?! it isn't just about the lookZ either. When あなた are emo, you're into the music, the lit, the style AND the fuckin lifestyle...
most of the エモ people i kno have cut at least once.. i realize that not all do but many do (and isnt the whole idea behind being エモ that youre not happy with your life? im not saying youre sad all the time but isnt being not happy with the way things are going kinda the whole idea behind 'emo'?
^ エモ is short for emotional. That emotion could be sadness, it could be happiness, it could be some other passion, it could be a combination. So no, not all emos are unhappy with their lives.
I WAS emo... but I was like freakin' depressed and yeah... I mean I never CUT myself THOROUGHLY with a ナイフ before... but I probably still tend to literally beat myself up when I am really sad または mad または something. But right now I seem to have found this light of happiness that just sucks up the darkness of life... If あなた are または have ever been in a relationship (bf/gf) then あなた would know what I'm talking about. just sayin' :D

oh and i never cut myself with a KNIFE. I've attempted to scratch myself with a fork instead (that was like sorta the closest thing I could reach)
I have never been emo. But I do 愛 エモ people and ATTENTION TO ALL OF WHOEVER THINKS THAT ALL EMO'S CUTS THEMSELFS IS A LIE. Sorry I just have to point something out, I mean I know a couple emo's that doesn't cut themselfs. I do know that they are really misunderstanding people I have so much respect for them same with ゴシック people I have respect for some of them.
