Do your folks control what あなた listen to also?

I listen to 音楽 such as Nirvana, Marilyn Manson, Alice In Chains, 音楽 like that. And the sad thing is, I have to go behind their backs to listen to my interests. Do あなた have to do that too?

I mostly listen to musical soundtracks. Also my mom and me have mostly the same taste in music.

My dad doesn't know what i listen to but he knows that i listen to ミュージカル a lot so he's fine.

Well since I'm 19, it doesn't matter.

But even when I was a kid, I listened to stuff like The Beatles, ピンク Floyd, The Rolling Stones, etc., so my mom actually liked my choice of music. She would, however, ban my brother from listening to Eminem. LOL. When I got older, my mom just didn't give a fuck anymore and I got away with listening to Eminem.
