My pantech pursuit touchscreen will not work!!

So the touchscreen won't work anymore, I've tried taking the battery out and turning it back on, it seems that anytime I get a text the screen won't let me read the message. No I have not gotten water damage to it, the sticker is not pink, and No I don't need to press harder, the touchscreen is just not working. Has anyone had this happen? What did AT&T do for you?
