this is a 質問 to anyone who is an expert on chickens

こんにちは I need some confirmation on something.
One of my chickens has been spending most of her time in the coup in the same spot for the past few days and I checked the coup earlier and in the exact same spot she had been sitting in there were four eggs

I have to know, is she nesting?

Yes, a mother chicken will never leave her nesting spot unless she needs to go get 食 または water, または happens to use the bathroom.
Until the eggs are hatched, she will remain in the coup for several days または maybe a week depending how long it takes.

Sounds like it to me, but the best way to know is to try to run her off the nest. Not aggressively, but something that will generally make her leave. If she doesn't leave または comes back quickly, it's a very 安全, 安全です bet she's nesting.
