Nuh DUH! I'd say "below the hill" actually. I honestly cannot name over 10 singers who can actually sing today, which is rather pathetic considering the size of the freaking 音楽 circle.
Artists today are not creative, repetitive, inexperienced and just horrible singers. I'm not going to name anyone but I think あなた all know who I'm talking about. Basically all the "stars" today cannot sing. But they are still famous and why? Because they have the money& the promotions. Everyone has it's own taste and if someone likes todays 音楽 it's ok, because we have to respect everyones opinion. But what I think is that this todays 音楽 is all about selling CD and not caring about art, what 音楽 should be and really is. And I have to say that I 愛 pop-rock, as much as rock and punk but I 愛 the old rock and punk bands not this todays. I like that sound better than todays commercional sound.
