Well The English version was rather straight up for me..so not really..the earlier manga (such as the ones with Gold and Silver as well Sapphire and Ruby..was somewhat there..but it was rather straight up with me.)..but I have learned a few other languages like I know some of my Japanese from watching Pokemon and I know a little from watching the French Dub..so in a way yes,in other languages..but not english,so this is definitely other for me!XD

don't remember. i read a pokemon book when i was 6 or 7, at that time i started understanding English normally(my main language is Arabic), so i think i learned a few words. not sure
